Hidden Gems #1 - Fall by Bruce Cockburn

There is so much wonderful music out there. We all know the classics. It's hard to miss them if you have a passion for music. There are, however, lots of hidden gems, that LWC think you should know and love but may not have heard. So this is the first in a series of posts introducing you to some relatively obscure but amazing songs.

Bruce Cockburn is a Canadian singer songwriter and accomplished guitarist. Fall is a gentle acoustic song from his 1972 LP, Sunwheel Dance. It's a song of rare and fragile beauty - ghosting in and out of your consciousness as if it was never really there. The lyrics and arrangement (listen out for that cello) are sublime. It's the perfect soundtrack for those reflective moments in your life, when the nights grow longer and winter draws near.
